Robert and Janet Featherston are two industry leaders, who are dedicated to high quality signs and exceptional customer service. By keeping their clients’ interests in mind, they have again created a sign company that organizations large and small have come to trust.
Jan serves as president of Featherston Sign Partners. She brings a wealth of business experience and best practices to the company. The business is growing based on sound business methods and putting every customer first.
Since July 2015, she has also served as president of JASF Corporation, which specializes in professional consulting. Jan and the team assist other companies and executives in business grow opportunities.
In 2003, Jan co-founded Sign-Ups and Banners Corp. in Houston, which she successfully grew into a nationwide sign company providing custom signs, banners, promotions and marketing products. There, she held full P & L responsibility for strategic planning, development, direction and leadership. Jan also established the policies, procedures and standards consistent with providing optimum service for over 3,800 customer accounts. Under her leadership, the company became a three-time Pinnacle Award winner from the Better Business Bureau. In 2015, she sold the company, but worked as a consultant to the new owner until August 2017.
Prior to her experience in the sign industry, Jan developed strong management skills as an executive at various organizations. This corporate experience allowed Jan to become quite adept at establishing and growing businesses profitably.
Jan has served on various boards throughout the greater Houston area and remains active in her community. Extremely patriotic, Jan can often be found handing out American flags. She is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, cohort 8. Previously, she earned a bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Houston.

Robert serves as vice president and co-founder of Featherston Sign Partners. He offers more than 30 years of experience in the sign business. He has managed all aspects of sign production, while leading his production teams and ensuring production requirements are met. From sign design to installation, Robert guides clients on the best options to achieve the visibility they seek. Year after year, clients trust his industry expertise and commitment.
Prior to starting Featherston Sign Partners, Robert was the vice president and co-founder of Sign-Ups and Banners Corp. He oversaw the production process from start to finish, adjusted schedules as needed and ensured customer satisfaction. Responsible for day-to-day operations, Robert co-managed staff and audited the inventory of production materials with an eye on upcoming projects. He was instrumental in the sale of the company in 2015. Robert worked as a consultant to the new owner until September 2017.
Previously, Robert worked for other sign and banner companies, where he gained valuable experience with equipment, software, projects and people. He was charged with multi-project production, delivery execution and support. He also managed vendor relationships and cost management by ensuring that detailed specifications were supplied to external suppliers for all projects and accounting records were maintained to close out jobs.
Robert retired from the United States Airforce after serving in various locations around the world. Robert also earned an associates degree from the University of Maryland.
